Why is the lid in two parts?

The two-part lid is what makes our Lieblingsglas so special. Our accessories can only be used with the two-part standard lid supplied.

How does the two-piece lid work?

Place the plate on the glass. Tighten the ring. The ring presses the plate onto the glass, making it 100% airtight.
